What is a Lithophany?

A lithophane is a projection of light through a sheet.

In the world of 3D printing, it is an image with relief of different thicknesses that, by having the layers with more or less opacity, the light passes better or worse through the sheet, creating a scale with different shades depending on the color. of the filament used in the printer, usually white.

The magic of Lithophany comes from the game of capturing the image of a photograph on a piece of plastic with different reliefs and thicknesses that, when light is projected from behind, creates a surprising effect and the photos take on a life of their own.

Customize your Lithophany:

At My Crypto Box we give you the opportunity to create a personalized magic cube or 'Light Box' with up to 4 of your favorite photographs. You can personalize it with a name or even add a rotating platform. To order your Light Box you must follow the following steps:

1.- Go to the Online Store and in the Crypto Box section look for the article LIGHT BOX 15 (3 lithophanes without rotating platform) or LIGHT BOX 16 (4 lithophanes with rotating platform)

2.- Add the item to the cart (you can add a name of up to 10 characters)

3.- Upload your photographs right here, approximately 10 x 8 cm in size.

When you receive the order, it is very easy to insert the lithophanes into their slot, turn on the LED light, put the top cover on and enjoy.
